Qld seminar puts the spotlight on quarry health and safety


A record equalling attendance to this year's Annual Quarry Safety and Health Seminar in Brisbane underscores the seriousness with which the Queensland quarrying industry is facing up to its OH&S challenge. The Mines and Energy Minister, Geoff Wilson (pictured) opened the seminar and told participants that best practice health and safety is fundamental to an economically sustainable industry.
